The Centre for Infocomm Technology, is a Research Centre under the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. The centre was formed in 2011 and brings together expert in the area of Information and Communication Engineering. In line with the Singapore Research, Innovation and Enterprise (RIE) 2020 roadmap, the centre now gears itself towards supporting Singapore vision to become a Smart Nation. In particularly, the centre focuses in translating cutting edge technologies into useful and deployable solutions for Smart Mobility, Smart Environment, and Smart Living.
Our Professors, Scientists, Research Staff and Development Engineers are actively engaged with government agencies and industry partners (startups, small-medium enterprises, local-large enterprises, and multinational companies) to conduct R&D works that have the outcome of deploying technologies in the real world. Our staff competency lie in the area of Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytic, Internet-of-Things, and Wireless Communication. In addition, the Centre provides training environment for undergraduate and graduate students, giving them opportunity to work with faculty and R&D staff.
